"Sal has been working with our 18 month old Sheepadoodle rescue, named Cora, for the last 2 months and we are extremely pleased with her progress! In just 2 short months Sal has exceeded our expectations while working with her once a week for an hour. Prior to Sal, Cora only knew the basic “sit” and “come”. Now when anyone comes to the house, we give a command and she goes directly to her designated area in the house where she waits for another command for her to leave her spot. We are now working on walking together on a leash. Sal not only teaches in a very simple, yet effective, manner but he also explains why he teaches each step. By doing that, it helps us understand what to do by also thinking of the mentality of the dog at the same time. As Sal always says, the dog can only learn as long as we- the owners- put it in the time and do the homework between lessons. It is because of Sal’s special teaching techniques and personality that Cora is progressing more and more each week! He’s not only teaching Cora, but teaching us as well."
